Fourwheeler Riding

Today Casey and I went to my parents house after church for lunch and to ride the fourwheelers. We thought it would be a good chance for us to have a little Casey and Bekah time

away from everyone and everything. We followed a few trails, drove through some icy mud, and found a pasture that would make a beautiful yard for a "dream" house we've been planning. It's on a hill that over looks the rest of the pasture and has large oak trees that look good for climbing or a rope swing! I miss the country if you can't tell. :) We took a few pictures.

This is on the hill looking down. You can't see the hill very good but there is one there! haha

Some big oak trees! ( I think they're oak...) Imagine how pretty they are in the summer.

Another picture from the hill. The taller grass at the bottom holds water kinda bad... so we were talking about how neat it would be to turn that into a pond. Picture perfect!

More trees and hillside!

The dogs came with us. This is Bri (short for Brianna) my dog that is still living with mom and dad. I claim her at least. I do believe she's the prettiest Sheppard I've ever seen! However, I could be partial. She loves to ride about 50 feet infront of the fourwheeler and be in the lead. She always looks back at us to make sure she's going the right way. Smart doggie!

It was soooo cold.. but I loved getting to buddle up and it gave me an excuse to snuggle extra close to Casey ;) This was when we got back to the house. Notice our pink noses...

This is Casey trying to put his sunglasses on with the big poofy hunting gloves dad gave Casey to keep his hands warm. He was having a tough time getting them on! I had to take a picture.

On the way to the padres house.

Driving around. I was being risky with the camera and taking a picture while we were moving.

We had a blast! An afternoon with God's beautiful creation... and the countryside of course, makes a beautiful day!

And here's a cute photo of Lyla to end this post.

Trip to Memphis

This past weekend we all loaded up and headed to Memphis, TN for a business conference. We all being Casey, Lyla, and I; Mom and Dad, Tim and Sandi, and Brittney, Abby, and Lily. We had a fun time! This was on the way up there. Lyla was working diligently on getting her pacy back in her mouth!

Friday night we all went to eat at Bahama Breeze a Darden resturant, and were able to use the gift card Seth and Jana gave us for Christmas. It was very Yummy! :) While Casey and I were in the Conference, mom and dad watched Lyla. "Who picked out these clothes??"

She did pretty good... but had gas that night, so I went up to the room to comfort her for a little while, until they could put her to sleep. I felt bad for mom and dad, as Lyla was crying pretty big. They are amazing! Here is Lyla smiling while holding mommy's hand!

The next day they went to the mall and Sandi and the girls played games in the foyer of the Hotel. This is a picture of Casey and I in the conference.

Here is a picture and Casey and Tim in the conference! Stacy was trying to get out of the picture and ended up being in it~ ;)

On Sunday when we were getting ready to leave, the girls and I were playing with the Camera and decided to take some 'modeling' pictures. Coincidently they found a vent on the floor blowing air straight up! So we got the advantage of their hair looking as though it were blowing in the wind! Cute Cute! The girls looked like naturals!! Their faces are priceless...

The bed spreads in the Hotel were deep blue. When we laid Lyla on it her eyes just popped! They looked sooooo blue. And her expression is too cute.

This picture was after we got back, on Tuesday. She finally fits in her Jeep carrier. I was bouncing her in it and she was loving it! She was trying so hard to laugh!

Caleb and Lyla Video

This video was taken at Tim and Sandi's house on the Saturday after Christmas. Lyla has been talking (cooing) much more latley, so when Casey and Seth faced them towards each other she talked (cooed) his ear off! It was sooo sweet. Caleb was very intently listening too; he has been taught well ;)

Highchair

Latley while Casey and I eat at the table we have been putting Lyla in her highchair. We got the idea from Seth and Jana. They put Caleb in his while they ate and he seems to be taking to eating solids very quickly and easily! We thought we would do the same and get the benenfit of her being at eyelevel and seemingly in the conversation... as she talks to us when we talk to one another. We love it! Here are some cute pics of her in her highchair.

After church Sunday during lunch.

New Skills!

Lyla is getting to where she is much more active. Its seems like she is smiling all the time! When we talk to her she gets soooooo excited and starts kicking her feet, smiling, slinging her arms, spitting bubbles. It looks like she's trying very hard to talk!

Talking..

More talking!

Smiling! This is a relatively small smile, however still cute~

Concentrating very hard... ;)

Lifting her head up..

Lifting head and pushing up!
